The Fredericton Chamber of Commerce has added Premier Brian Gallant to its “Political Leaders Series” which was launched on Friday, May 18. Premier Gallant will appear at the Wu Conference Centre on June 29, 2018 at 10:00 am.
“We are very pleased that we were able to find a date and time that works for the Premier and the chamber,” said Keir Clark, chamber president. “Now we are able to hear from the leaders of all six of New Brunswick’s officially registered political parties in the lead-up to the election in September. It will be interesting to contrast and compare their various policies.”
The remainder of the schedule is as follows:
May 25 – Kris Austin, People’s Alliance of New Brunswick
June 1 – Blaine Higgs, Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick
June 8 – David Coon, Green Party of New Brunswick
June 22 – Jennifer McKenzie, New Brunswick New Democratic Party
June 29 – Hon. Brian Gallant, Liberal Party of New Brunswick
Sessions are open to the public and free to attend. Please register at www.frederictonchamber.ca. The series is supported by the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick, the NBStudent Alliance and Ignite Fredericton.
The chamber is also currently soliciting questions on its website from members to ask local candidates in Greater Fredericton Area ridings.
