About Us

Science East Science Centre is one of the most unique tourist attractions in Canada. All ages can enjoy the over 150 hands-on and interactive exhibits exploring science through technology, optical illusions, energy, animals, dinosaurs, anatomy, insects, deep space and more! Located in a former jail built in 1842, visitors will find exhibits in the basement museum exploring the jail's history and the role of DNA in forensic science. Open all year. Daily live science demos and a huge outdoor science playground are offered throughout the summer. Groups rates and curriculum-based programs for youth available to schools and community groups. Programs and services provided in both French and English. Venue rentals and meeting space available.
